School Administrator / Site Support

Location: Stroud, Gloucestershire

Hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday

Contract: Until Christmas 2026

Start Date: 2nd November

A fantastic opportunity to join a lovely rural school in the Stroud area!

Thrive Education are currently recruiting for a friendly, organised and proactive School Administrator to support a welcoming rural school on a full-time basis until Christmas.

This is a varied and rewarding position, combining general school administration with additional support for the Site Manager, making it ideal for someone who enjoys a busy working environment where no two days are quite the same.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supporting the day-to-day running of the school office.
• Managing enquiries, emails and general administrative duties.
• Assisting with site management tasks, including coordinating maintenance requests and contractors.
• Supporting the wider school team with operational and organisational tasks.
• Helping to ensure the school remains a safe, welcoming and well-organised environment.

The Ideal Candidate:

• Previous administration experience, ideally within a school or educational setting.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• A flexible, hands-on attitude and willingness to support wherever needed.
• Confident using IT systems and managing competing priorities.
• A friendly, approachable personality and a genuine enthusiasm for working in a school environment.
