School Administrator

Location: Cheltenham, Gloucestershire

Hours: Part-time, Mornings Only (Monday to Friday)

Thrive Education are currently recruiting for a friendly, organised and proactive School Administrator to support a busy and supportive school in Cheltenham on a part-time, morning-only basis until Christmas 2026.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking for school-hours work while playing a key role in the smooth day-to-day running of a vibrant school environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Supporting the day-to-day administration of the school office.
• Managing telephone, email and face-to-face enquiries from parents, staff and visitors.
• Maintaining accurate school records and administrative systems.
• Assisting with attendance, admissions and general office duties.
• Supporting the wider school team with organisational and operational tasks.
• Helping to ensure a welcoming, professional and efficient front-of-house service.

The Ideal Candidate

• Previous administration experience, ideally within a school or educational setting.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• Confident using IT systems, including Microsoft Office.
• The ability to prioritise tasks and work efficiently in a busy environment.
• A friendly, approachable and professional manner.
• A genuine enthusiasm for supporting children, staff and families within a school community.
