FindCore are thrilled to be assisting an established automotive dealership with the recruitment of a Car Sales Executive.

Permanent, full-time position based in Workington.

Salary:

£28,000 basic salary + commission, with realistic OTE of £40,000 – £45,000 + additional benefits

This is an excellent opportunity for a confident and customer-focused sales professional to join a well-established motor dealership. Previous automotive experience is advantageous but not essential for someone with the right sales ability, personality and willingness to learn.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage customer enquiries across face-to-face, telephone and online channels
• Build strong relationships with customers and understand their vehicle requirements
• Present vehicles confidently and explain features and benefits
• Arrange and conduct vehicle demonstrations and test drives
• Follow up enquiries and convert opportunities into sales
• Maintain accurate customer and sales records
• Work towards agreed individual and dealership sales targets
• Develop strong product knowledge across the vehicle range
• Deliver a professional and enjoyable customer experience throughout the sales journey

Skills & Experience:

• Previous sales experience would be highly advantageous
• Automotive experience is beneficial but not essential
• Excellent communication and listening skills
• Confident dealing with customers face-to-face, over the phone and online
• Positive, professional and customer-focused approach
• Strong IT and digital communication skills
• Interest in vehicles and new automotive technology
• Motivated by targets and earning potential
• Full UK driving licence required
