Permanent, full-time position based in Shrewsbury.

Salary

£35,000 – £60,000 OTE, depending on experience and performance + uncapped commission + additional benefits

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced automotive sales professional to join a successful dealership representing a range of new and used vehicles.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage customer enquiries from initial contact through to vehicle handover
• Sell both new and used vehicles
• Build strong relationships with customers and understand their requirements
• Present vehicles confidently and explain key features and benefits
• Arrange and conduct test drives
• Follow up telephone, email and online enquiries
• Negotiate deals and convert enquiries into sales
• Work towards agreed individual and dealership sales targets
• Maintain accurate customer and sales records
• Deliver a high standard of customer service throughout the sales process
• Work closely with the wider dealership team to ensure a smooth customer journey

Skills & Experience

• Minimum 1 year of previous car sales experience required
• Strong track record within automotive sales
• Confident dealing with customers face-to-face, over the phone and by email
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
• Commercially minded and motivated by earning potential
• Strong organisation and follow-up skills
• Comfortable working as part of an established sales team
• Good general computer skills
• Full UK driving licence required
