Location: Middlesbrough

Contract: Permanent, Full-time

Salary:

£40,000 – £52,000 OTE

Basic salary + strong commission structure

This is a fantastic opportunity for a driven and customer-focused sales professional to join a growing used car dealership in Middlesbrough. With significant stock levels and ambitious expansion plans, this role would suit someone who enjoys building rapport, converting enquiries into sales and delivering a first-class customer experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage the full customer journey from initial enquiry through to vehicle handover
• Build rapport with customers and understand their requirements
• Handle telephone, online and walk-in enquiries professionally
• Convert enquiries into appointments, viewings and sales opportunities
• Present vehicles confidently and conduct test drives
• Discuss finance and warranty options in line with company procedures
• Negotiate deals professionally and work towards agreed sales targets
• Keep sales paperwork, records and CRM systems up to date
• Work closely with colleagues across sales and aftersales to ensure a smooth handover
• Maintain high standards across vehicle presentation and customer service

Skills & Experience:

• Previous motor trade sales experience would be highly advantageous
• Will also consider strong sales candidates from other customer-facing environments
• Confident communicator, both face-to-face and over the phone
• Target-driven with a commercial mindset
• Strong organisational skills and good follow-up ability
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn
• Passion for cars and a genuine interest in the automotive sector
• Full UK driving licence required
