We are currently recruiting on behalf of an established and growing business operating within a specialist technical services sector. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced sales professional to join a successful team in a role combining new business development, account management and project sales.

The successful candidate will take ownership of a portfolio of customers while also identifying and developing new commercial opportunities. You will work with a varied client base, helping them find the right solutions for their projects.

Key Duties & Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain strong, long-term relationships with existing customers.
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities through proactive sales activity.
• Handle incoming sales enquiries and convert opportunities into profitable business.
• Research prospective customers and generate new leads using a range of sources and sales tools.
• Contact prospective clients by telephone, email and other appropriate channels.
• Understand customer requirements and recommend suitable solutions.
• Review project information, drawings and specifications to establish customer requirements.
• Prepare accurate and commercially competitive quotations.
• Follow up quotations and manage opportunities through to completion.
• Maintain accurate customer, opportunity and sales information within the company's CRM system.
• Provide a high level of customer service throughout the sales process.
• Develop knowledge of the company's products and technical solutions, with full training provided.
• Work closely with internal teams to ensure projects and customer requirements are handled efficiently.
• Contribute ideas and feedback

Previous Skills & Experience:

• Proven Sales Account Management or BDM experience, with a proactive approach to developing profitable relationships
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build successful, mutually beneficial business relationships
• Strong sales and negotiation skills, with the ability to handle and overcome objections
• Enthusiastic, self-motivated, and focused on meeting and exceeding targets
• Excellent planning, organisational, and time management skills

Salary: £28,000-£33,000 + uncapped commission
