Join our dynamic Sales Team as an Account Manager. This role is crucial for developing both existing and new business through our online web shop, aiming to build a loyal, long-term trade customer base. The position involves a wide range of responsibilities from handling enquiries and customer service to managing sales processes and maintaining customer relationships.

Day-to-day of the role:

• Handle incoming calls and convert them into sales.
• Prepare quotations and follow through with projects all the way to the order stage.
• Focus on developing existing customers while generating new leads.
• Identify new opportunities and contact potential customers to develop new business relationships.
• Actively build and maintain relationships with a diverse customer base including end-users, tradespeople, builders, and installers.
• Review plans and specifications, consult with customers to ensure they are purchasing the correct products for their needs.
• Handle technical queries as needed.
• Attend meetings online or in person if required.
• Review competitors and provide feedback to management.
• Maintain a high level of customer service and deal with issues such as returns or delivery problems.
• Assist with and generate enquiries through social media platforms.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Effective communication skills in both oral and written forms.
• Confident telephone manner.
• Proficient use of a PC to communicate internally and externally.
• Team player with self-motivation and an energetic personality.
• Experience within the trade is preferred but not essential.
• Familiarity with CRM systems to maintain accurate customer records and organise workflow.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office package, including Outlook and Excel.
