Our client, a well-established and fast-growing group of companies based in Suffolk, is looking for a Credit Controller to join their friendly, dynamic finance team. The Role

You’ll play a key part in the efficient billing and collection of invoices across the group, working closely with customers and the sales team. Your day-to-day will include:

• Producing accurate sales invoices and credit notes
• Reviewing quotes before billing to make sure they meet audit standards
• Applying the company’s credit and collection procedures consistently
• Following up on outstanding and overdue payments by phone, email and letter
• Handling customer billing queries promptly and delivering a first-class service
• Recording bank receipts and matching payments to the correct accounts
• Working closely with customers and the internal sales team to keep things running smoothly

About You

• A background in a fast-paced role handling large numbers of high-value invoices
• Previous experience in a customer-facing position
• Strong communication skills, whether on the phone or in writing
• A meticulous approach and the ability to manage a busy, varied workload

It would be great if you also have:

• Previous credit control or sales ledger experience
• Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office
