Audit Senior

£34,000 to £44,000 per annum (DOE) | Permanent, full time

A leading firm of Chartered Accountants in Newcastle upon Tyne has an Audit Senior role for an ACA or ACCA qualified professional ready to take assignments from planning through to sign off.

What’s the day to day of the role:

• Taking audits from planning right through to completion
• Building and reviewing audit files to a high technical standard
• Coaching the juniors working alongside you on assignments
• Being the client’s main contact throughout the audit
• Setting out findings and recommendations for managers and partners

Required skills and qualifications:

• ACA or ACCA qualified, or close to it, with solid audit experience
• At least three years’ experience within a UK Practice environment
• Experience leading audits and supervising junior staff
• Strong grounding in UK auditing standards and financial reporting frameworks
• Confident with clients and able to run several assignments at once
