£36,000 to £48,000 per annum (DOE) | Permanent, full time

An ACA or ACCA qualified Audit Senior is wanted by a well regarded audit team at a leading firm of Chartered Accountants in Swindon, to lead assignments from planning through to completion.

Swindon has a diverse and well established commercial community, and the firm's client base reflects that, offering real technical variety across sectors and business sizes. The team is technically strong and collaborative, with a supported pathway to Assistant Manager. Crowe Watson Recruitment has a strong presence across the South West and Thames Valley.

What's the day to day of the role:

• Leading audit assignments from planning to completion across a varied portfolio
• Preparing and reviewing audit files to a high technical standard
• Supervising and coaching junior members of the audit team
• Acting as a key point of contact for clients throughout the audit process
• Communicating findings and recommendations clearly to managers and partners

Required skills and qualifications:

• ACA or ACCA qualified, or close to qualification, with a strong audit background
• At least three years' experience within a UK Practice environment
• Proven experience leading audit assignments and supervising junior staff
• Strong technical knowledge of UK auditing standards and financial reporting frameworks
• Confident client facing manner, well organised across multiple deadlines
