Lead your own audit assignments across a broad client base. A leading firm of Chartered Accountants in Southampton is looking for an ACA or ACCA qualified Audit Senior to run assignments from planning through to completion.

What’s the day to day of the role:

• Leading audit assignments from planning to completion across a varied portfolio
• Preparing and reviewing audit files to a high technical standard
• Supervising and coaching junior members of the audit team
• Acting as a key point of contact for clients throughout the audit process
• Communicating findings and recommendations clearly to managers and partners

Required skills and qualifications:

• ACA or ACCA qualified, or close to qualification, with a strong audit background
• At least three years’ experience within a UK Practice environment
• Proven experience leading audit assignments and supervising junior staff
• Strong technical knowledge of UK auditing standards and financial reporting frameworks
• Confident client facing manner, well organised across multiple deadlines
