Our client is a well-established UK managed services provider, keeping businesses connected with cybersecurity, communications and connectivity solutions since 2000. They're growing their successful Manchester team and need an Account Manager to take on a large portfolio of existing accounts that haven't had much attention — many picked up through acquisitions.

Your job is to reintroduce the business, build real relationships and turn those accounts into long-term partnerships. With the PSTN switch-off coming, there's no shortage of conversations to have. It's a high-activity role, so it suits someone driven who knows their input shapes their output.

What you’ll be doing

• Re-engaging dormant and unmanaged accounts and building trust
• Spotting cross-sell and upsell opportunities across connectivity, VoIP, cloud and security
• Guiding clients through the PSTN/ISDN switch-off as their migration partner
• Growing and retaining a portfolio of accounts
• Presenting proposals, negotiating and closing deals
• Keeping CRM records and pipeline up to date
• Working with internal teams to make onboarding and support smooth

• Some sales experience and real hunger to succeed
• A natural relationship builder with great listening and communication skills
• Comfortable juggling lots of accounts and priorities at once
• A proactive problem-solver who can negotiate and present with confidence
• Tech-savvy and quick to pick up CRM and sales tools
• A growth mindset and a 'let's go' attitude
