Warehouse Operative / Picker Packer – Raunds

People Solutions are recruiting Warehouse Operatives / Picker Packers to join our well-established client in Raunds, Northamptonshire.

Looking for a warehouse role with flexible shift options, weekly pay and no weekend work? We have opportunities to suit different levels of availability, including full-time, part-time and ad-hoc work.

This position is ideal for applicants looking for a role as a Picker Packer, Order Picker or Warehouse Assistant.

UP TO £19.91 PER HOUR | FLEXIBLE SHIFTS | PART-TIME & AD-HOC OPTIONS | NO WEEKENDS

The Role

• Monday to Friday opportunities
• Full-time, part-time and ad-hoc shifts available
• Various shift patterns to suit different availability
• Ongoing work with potential for long-term opportunities
• Immediate starts available
• Full training provided

Available Shifts

• 06:00 – 14:30
• 08:30 – 17:00
• 09:00 – 17:30
• 12:00 – 20:30

Please note: Some areas of the warehouse involve manual handling and heavier lifting. The physical requirements can vary depending on the role and department and will be discussed with you during the interview.

Pay Rates

• £13.27 per hour
• £17.05 per hour after 7pm
• £19.91 per hour - overtime after 40 hours worked per week
• Weekly pay

What You'll Be Doing

As a Warehouse Operative / Picker Packer, your duties may include:

• Picking and packing customer orders
• Preparing, labelling and wrapping goods for dispatch
• Receiving and checking deliveries
• Loading and unloading vehicles
• Moving and organising stock within the warehouse
• Using hand-held scanners and warehouse equipment
• Carrying out stock checks
• Keeping the warehouse clean, safe and organised
• Following all health and safety procedures

What We're Looking For

You don't necessarily need previous warehouse experience as full training is provided. We're looking for people who are:

• Reliable and punctual
• Hard-working and willing to learn
• Able to work as part of a team
• Comfortable working in a busy warehouse environment
• Able to follow instructions and work safely
• Have a basic level of spoken and written English
• Comfortable with the physical requirements of the role where applicable

Previous experience in warehousing, picking and packing, order picking, Goods In, Goods Out, dispatch, logistics, manufacturing or production is advantageous but not essential.
