Residential Conveyancing | Property Paralegal | Conveyancing | Land Registry | SDLT

Our client is looking for a graduate-calibre Paralegal to join its Residential Property team in Reading, supporting a Partner and the wider conveyancing team.

This is a varied opportunity for someone with previous experience in private practice, ideally within residential conveyancing, who is organised, proactive and confident managing deadlines.

The Role

You will assist with residential property files, particularly from exchange through to completion, including:

• Managing post-completion matters and Land Registry applications
• Ordering and reviewing property searches
• Preparing contract packs and legal documentation
• Completing Land Registry and SDLT forms
• Managing key dates and deadlines
• Preparing bills and invoices
• Closing and archiving files
• Liaising with clients and the accounts team

About You

• Graduate calibre
• Previous experience working in private practice
• Ideally, previous residential conveyancing experience
• Strong administration and organisational skills
• Excellent attention to detail and communication skills
• Able to work independently and as part of a team
• Must be authorised to work in the UK
