You will join an experienced and supportive team, working closely with Conveyancers to ensure transactions progress smoothly from instruction through to completion.

The Role

As a Conveyancing Assistant / Case Handler, you will provide vital support to a Conveyancer and assist with the efficient progression of residential property transactions.

Key responsibilities will include:

• Providing an excellent level of customer service to clients and corporate referrers
• Supporting a Conveyancer to achieve conversion, service and performance targets
• Managing electronic and paper-based files and carrying out a range of administrative duties
• Chasing clients, solicitors, estate agents, mortgage lenders and other third parties for outstanding information and documentation
• Chasing funds from lenders, clients and other solicitors
• Assisting with exchanges and completions
• Inputting and interpreting key data, including redemption figures
• Preparing, sending and checking legal documentation
• Reviewing and inputting mortgage offers on purchase transactions
• Assisting with enquiries on sale transactions
• Ensuring matters are progressed efficiently while maintaining a high standard of client care

About You

To be considered, you will ideally have:

• At least 12 months' experience within remortgage or residential conveyancing
• Previous experience in a conveyancing, administrative or customer service-focused role
• Experience working within a busy, high-volume environment
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
