Reed Further Education is delighted to be recruiting for a Teacher of Media on behalf of a leading Further Education provider in Derby. This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate and creative media professional to join a thriving curriculum area and inspire Level 3 learners.

If you have a strong background in media and enjoy helping students develop their skills for higher education and industry careers, we'd love to hear from you!

Key Responsibilities

Deliver engaging and high-quality Media lessons to Level 3 learners

Teach a mix of practical and theory-based media content

Act as a Personal Tutor, providing learner support and guidance

Assess student work and provide constructive feedback

Monitor learner progress and maintain accurate records

Complete registers and associated administrative duties

Maintain positive classroom management and learner engagement

Support students in achieving their qualification outcomes

? The Ideal Candidate Will Have

A qualification in Media or a related discipline, such as:

• Graphic Design
• Motion Graphics
• UI/UX Design

A Level 4 qualification or above in a relevant subject

Experience delivering or assessing BTEC and/or UAL qualifications

Strong industry knowledge and practical media skills

Excellent communication and classroom management skills

A teaching qualification such as a PGCE (desirable but not essential)

Experience working with Further Education learners (desirable)
