About the Role We are looking for an experienced Site Manager to support a Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) project in Plymouth. You will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day site activities, coordinating contractors and ensuring works are delivered safely, efficiently and to the required quality standards. Key Responsibilities Manage and coordinate daily site activities and contractors Ensure works are completed safely, on time and to specification Monitor site progress and address any issues or delays Conduct regular site inspections Maintain high standards of HSE and quality Liaise with project teams, contractors and stakeholders Ensure all site documentation and reporting is maintained Requirements Previous Site Management experience, ideally within BESS, energy or construction projects SSSTS or SMSTS certification required Relevant HSE qualifications/certifications Strong knowledge of site safety and construction procedures Excellent communication and coordination skills Ability to manage contractors and multiple site activities Contract Details 🔹 2–3 month contract 🔹 ASAP start 🔹 Plymouth-based site 🔹 BESS project
