Hours: Monday-Friday, 9:00am-5:00pm | Office-based

The Role

As an SME Account Handler, you will play an important part in delivering a high standard of service to commercial insurance clients, supporting their day-to-day insurance requirements and helping maintain strong, long-term relationships.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Managing and servicing a portfolio of SME commercial insurance clients.
• Handling renewals, mid-term adjustments and day-to-day client enquiries.
• Obtaining and reviewing quotations, liaising with insurers and supporting clients with their cover requirements.
• Building strong relationships with clients, insurers and colleagues.
• Ensuring records and documentation are maintained accurately.
• Contributing to the development and success of the growing team.

What We're Looking For

Experience in commercial insurance account handling is important, but personality, attitude and a willingness to develop are just as valuable.

We're keen to speak with individuals who are personable, proactive and team-oriented, with a genuine desire to deliver excellent client service and build a long-term career.

Ideally, you will have:

• Previous experience in SME or commercial insurance account handling.
• A good understanding of commercial insurance processes and client servicing.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• A positive attitude, a team-focused mindset and a willingness to learn.
• Acturis experience would be advantageous, although it is not essential.
