Your new companyA well-established organisation based in Stafford is seeking two Temporary Administrators to join their team on an initial 6-week assignment. These roles have arisen due to increased workload and offer an excellent opportunity to gain experience within a busy highways maintenance environment. There is potential for the assignment to be extended beyond the initial period.

Your new role

As a Temporary Administrator, you will play a key role in supporting highways maintenance operations by raising permits and ensuring all documentation is processed accurately and efficiently. You will work closely with operational teams, maintaining records and supporting the smooth delivery of essential maintenance works.

Key responsibilities will include:

• Raising and processing permits for highways maintenance activities
• Maintaining accurate records and documentation
• Inputting and updating information on internal systems
• Supporting the wider team with general administrative duties
• Ensuring all work is completed accurately and within required timescales

What you'll need to succeedTo be successful in this role, you will have:

• Previous administration experience in a busy office environment
• Strong IT and computer literacy skills
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
• Good communication and organisational skills
• The ability to pick up new systems and processes quickly

Experience within highways, utilities, street works or a related environment would be highly advantageous. although training can be provided.
