Description

• Process invoices and ensure accurate data entry into the accounting system.
• Reconcile bank statements and investigate discrepancies as needed.
• Assist with preparing financial reports and maintaining organised records.
• Support month-end and year-end financial close processes.
• Handle supplier and customer queries related to accounts.
• Maintain compliance with financial regulations and company policies.
• Provide general administrative support to the finance team.

Profile

A successful Accounts Assistant should have:

• Experience in a similar finance or accounting role, preferably in the retail industry.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial tasks.
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
• Good organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• A proactive approach to problem-solving and a willingness to learn.

Job Offer

• Hourly rate of £14.00 to £17.00, dependent on the level of experience.
• Temporary contract providing flexibility in working arrangements.
