This is a fantastic opportunity for qualified and experienced teachers who are passionate about education and committed to supporting students to achieve their full potential. You could be supporting students across GCSE, A Level and other KS4/KS5 programmes, working within a supportive school environment and making a positive impact on students' learning and progress. ‍ The Role As a Teacher working with Mersey View Trust, your responsibilities may include: Planning and delivering engaging lessons across KS4 and/or KS5 Teaching your specialist subject to a high standard Preparing students for GCSE, A Level and other relevant qualifications Differentiating lessons to meet the needs of individual learners Supporting students with their academic progress and development Assessing and providing constructive feedback on students' work Maintaining high expectations of behaviour, achievement and engagement Creating a positive, inclusive and stimulating learning environment Supporting students with additional learning needs where required Working collaboratively with colleagues and school staff Following school policies, safeguarding procedures and curriculum requirements Building positive and professional relationships with students ⭐ Who We're Looking For We are looking for enthusiastic, committed and passionate Secondary Teachers across all subjects who can make a positive difference to students studying at Key Stage 4 and Key Stage 5. We welcome applications from teachers with experience in subjects including: English ➗ Mathematics Science Geography ️ History ️ Languages Computing / IT Art & Design Music PE Business Studies Psychology ⚗️ Chemistry Biology ⚡ Physics ️ Design Technology Food Technology Religious Education …and all other secondary subjects. ✅ Requirements Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or relevant teaching qualification Experience teaching at secondary level Experience teaching KS4 and/or KS5 is desirable Strong subject knowledge Excellent classroom management skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills A passion for supporting students' learning and achievement Ability to plan and deliver engaging lessons Ability to work effectively as part of a school team A good understanding of safeguarding and school procedures A fully enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service DBS REQUIREMENT A fully enhanced DBS on the Update Service is required for this role. Candidates must be able to provide their DBS details for verification before commencing work. PAY: £140–£209 PER DAY Daily rates are dependent on experience, qualifications and suitability for the role.
