Purchase Ledger Clerk (Temp to Perm)Location: Brigg, North Lincolnshire: Full Time, Monday to Friday 40 hours

An established and growing business based in Brigg is seeking an experienced Purchase Ledger Clerk to join its finance team on a temporary to permanent basis. This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented individual looking to secure a long-term position within a supportive and friendly working environment. Reporting to the Finance Manager, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth running of the purchase ledger function and maintaining accurate financial records.

Key Responsibilities

• Processing high volumes of supplier invoices accurately and efficiently
• Matching, batching and coding invoices
• Reconciling supplier statements and resolving any discrepancies
• Preparing payment runs
• Handling supplier queries via telephone and email
• Maintaining accurate purchase ledger records
• Assisting with month-end processes where required
• Supporting the wider finance team with general administrative duties

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• Previous experience in a Purchase Ledger or Accounts Payable position
• Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills
• Good communication skills and the ability to build relationships with suppliers and colleagues
• Ability to work to deadlines and manage a busy workload
• Competent IT skills, including Microsoft Excel
• Experience of working with finance/accounting systems would be advantageous
