The Role

You'll advise clients across a broad range of family and child law matters, handling cases from initial instruction through to resolution.

Your caseload will include:

• Separation and divorce
• Financial issues arising from relationship breakdown
• Contact and residence disputes
• Children's matters
• Legal aid work

Advocacy opportunities are available for solicitors who enjoy appearing in court.

About You

This role would suit a solicitor who:

• Has 3 + years' PQE in Scottish family law
• Is comfortable running their own files
• Has experience dealing with legally aided and privately funded matters
• Enjoys building long-term client relationships
• Has good court procedure knowledge
• Is organised, approachable and practical in their advice
