Energy Sales Closer £55,000+ | Uncapped Commission Gateshead | Full-time | Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm

This is a senior B2B sales closing role for experienced deal-makers who want to earn at the highest level in UK energy sales. You will be closing high-value energy contracts with UK businesses, working face-to-face and remotely with senior decision-makers across gas and power procurement.

What You'll Be Doing

• Closing energy procurement contracts across gas and power for commercial and industrial clients
• Leading pricing and tender conversations with confidence and commercial authority
• Managing and developing your Lead Gen team. Their output directly affects your earnings
• Building long-term customer relationships that generate renewal and referral revenue year on year
• Working with our trading and procurement desk on contract structuring and supplier negotiations
• Operating to a high professional standard. Preparation, follow-through and attention to detail

The Commercial Reality

Most companies that advertise "uncapped commission" cap it in practice through territory limits, deal caps or clawback clauses. We do not. Our commission structure is transparent, uncapped, and paid on every deal you close. Our average Closer earns £350,000 per year. Our top Closers exceed £500,000. These are real numbers, not recruitment marketing. If you have the ability, we have the platform, the pipeline and the pay structure to match it.

What We're Looking For

• Minimum 3 years of B2B sales closing experience within the energy industry
• You have led consultative sales processes where you identified the client's problem before proposing a solution, and can walk us through specific examples
• You have handled pricing conversations, objection handling and commercial negotiation at board level and can point to deals where you navigated these successfully
• You have managed your own pipeline and numbers independently and can demonstrate consistent results
• Energy sector experience is strongly preferred. You understand contract end dates, suppliers and the procurement cycle
• You will be asked to demonstrate your sales ability live during the interview process

PLEASE NOTE:

This is a senior position for proven closers. If you cannot demonstrate a track record of closing complex deals, this is not the right role. Candidates whose closing experience is limited to retail, FMCG or consumer markets should note that B2B contract sales requires a fundamentally different skill set, and this requirement is non-negotiable. If your B2B background is in outbound prospecting or full-cycle consultative sales rather than high-value closing, our Lead Generator and Energy Consultant positions may be a better fit.

This Is Not for You If

• You have not closed complex B2B contracts. Experience in lead generation or appointment setting alone is not sufficient
• Your sales experience is retail, hospitality or consumer-facing
• You are looking for a remote or work-from-home position. This role is 100% office-based in Gateshead
• You cannot commute to Gateshead Quays, Tyne and Wear, five days per week
• You are not legally entitled to work in the UK without sponsorship
