Market 36 Recruitment are currently recruiting for a Small Parts Assembler on behalf of our client based in Braintree on a temporary to permanent basis. Roles & Responsibilities * Assembling small components in line with written work instructions and basic wiring diagrams. * Carrying out detailed soldering, measuring, cutting and stripping coloured cables. * Using hand tools, including side cutters, spanners and Allen keys. * Masking, sandblasting and ultrasonic cleaning components and moulds. * Preparing moulds, applying release agents and assembling small moulds. * Weighing and mixing epoxy resin and hardener, using vacuum systems to fill moulds. * Aligning and gluing components. * Carrying out detailed quality inspections, including checking for defects and completing height, cleanliness, insulation and continuity tests. * Packing finished products and completing work orders and concession reports when required. * Following health and safety procedures and maintaining high standards of cleanliness. * Working flexibly in a fast-paced environment where multitasking is essential. Experience, Skills & Qualifications * Previous manufacturing or assembly experience would be beneficial but is not essential, as full on-the-job training will be provided. * Good attention to detail and the ability to follow detailed written instructions. * Comfortable using hand tools and handling small components. * A flexible and organised approach to work, with the ability to multitask. * A commitment to quality, cleanliness and health and safety procedures. Working Pattern & Benefits * Day shift, working 38 hours per week. * On-the-job training provided.
