Market 36 Recruitment are currently recruiting for a Small Parts Assembler on behalf of our client based in Braintree on a temporary to permanent basis.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Assembling small components in line with written work instructions and basic wiring diagrams.
• Carrying out detailed soldering, measuring, cutting and stripping coloured cables.
• Using hand tools, including side cutters, spanners and Allen keys.
• Masking, sandblasting and ultrasonic cleaning components and moulds.
• Preparing moulds, applying release agents and assembling small moulds.
• Weighing and mixing epoxy resin and hardener, using vacuum systems to fill moulds.
• Aligning and gluing components.
• Carrying out detailed quality inspections, including checking for defects and completing height, cleanliness, insulation and continuity tests.
• Packing finished products and completing work orders and concession reports when required.
• Following health and safety procedures and maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
• Working flexibly in a fast-paced environment where multitasking is essential.

Experience, Skills & Qualifications

• Previous manufacturing or assembly experience would be beneficial but is not essential, as full on-the-job training will be provided.
• Good attention to detail and the ability to follow detailed written instructions.
• Comfortable using hand tools and handling small components.
• A flexible and organised approach to work, with the ability to multitask.
• A commitment to quality, cleanliness and health and safety procedures.

Working Pattern & Benefits

• Day shift, working 38 hours per week.
