In this role, you will partner closely with operational managers and executive leaders across the Foundation, empowering them to grasp their financial metrics and make strategic choices. You will head the delivery of management accounting, budget creation, future forecasting, and strategic financial modelling-translating intricate numbers into clear, actionable narratives for your stakeholders.

Equally vital is your capacity to establish collaborative relationships nationwide. You will provide fresh perspectives, offer constructive challenge, and know precisely when to guide or support. Additionally, you will champion continuous improvement by modernising reporting methods, leveraging system automation, and refining our core financial workflows. As a senior pillar of our department, you will mentor internal peers, collaborate with the Finance Operations Manager, and step up for the Head of Finance when necessary.

Profile

A successful 'Finance Business Partner' should have:

• Extensive background in management reporting, budget oversight, forecasting, and data analysis
• Superior interpersonal skills to build credibility with colleagues across all organisational tiers
• Talent for translating financial concepts into plain English for non-financial staff
• Exceptional analytical capabilities, including experience building financial models and pulling insights from data
• A forward-thinking mindset coupled with the diplomacy to challenge assumptions constructively
• Advanced Excel proficiency and strong familiarity with modern financial systems
• A fully completed professional accounting designation (ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent)

Job Offer

• Salary of £48,425 to £56,971, dependent on the level of experience.
