A senior technical role focused on diagnostics and supporting workshop standards.The role of HGV Master Technician / PSV Master Technician Diagnose and resolve complex mechanical and electrical faults on buses and coaches. Carry out advanced fault finding across engines, transmissions, braking and vehicle electrical systems. Complete servicing, repairs, safety inspections and MOT preparation. Support technicians with challenging repairs and share technical knowledge. Identify recurring faults and recommend repairs to improve vehicle reliability. Maintain accurate records and ensure work meets safety and roadworthiness standards.What the ideal HGV Master Technician / PSV Master Technician would need NVQ Level 3, City & Guilds or equivalent qualification in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance and Repair. Strong experience working on HGVs, buses or coaches. Advanced diagnostic skills and confidence using diagnostic equipment. Good knowledge of vehicle electrics, air brakes and pneumatic systems. The ability to support colleagues and maintain high standards of workmanship.
