This is a fantastic opportunity to join a successful and expanding wealth management practice in Worthing, working alongside a collaborative team of Advisers and fellow Paraplanners on a wide variety of interesting and technically challenging cases.

Once fully embedded, you'll enjoy the flexibility of only attending the office a couple of days per week, giving you the perfect balance between collaboration and autonomy.

The Role

Working within a pooled Paraplanning team, you'll support multiple Advisers across a broad range of financial planning cases, including:

• Pensions and retirement planning
• Investments and portfolio recommendations
• Pension transfers
• Inheritance Tax (IHT) planning
• Trust planning and estate considerations
• Protection planning
• Complex client reviews and recommendations

Key Responsibilities

• Producing high-quality suitability reports and recommendation letters
• Conducting technical research and analysis
• Preparing and reviewing cashflow modelling outputs
• Developing financial planning strategies and recommendations
• Supporting Advisers with complex client cases
• Researching pension, investment and tax planning solutions
• Ensuring files meet compliance and regulatory standards
• Liaising with providers, Advisers and administrators
• Assisting with technical development across the wider team
• Mentoring and coaching less experienced Paraplanners, sharing technical knowledge and best practice

About You

You'll be an experienced Paraplanner with strong technical knowledge across pensions and investments and a genuine passion for financial planning.

You'll ideally have:

• Previous experience as a Paraplanner within an IFA/Wealth Management environment
• Strong report writing and research skills
• Knowledge of pensions, investments, pension transfers and IHT planning
• Diploma qualified or working towards Chartered status
• Excellent attention to detail
• A collaborative approach and willingness to support and mentor colleagues
