Job Title: Saled Account Manager (B2B)

Salary: £40,000 - £45,000 per annum (dependent on experience)

Location: Ashford (own transport is essential due to location of the client)

Overview

We are looking an experienced Sales Account Manager to join a busy B2B sales team selling products into industrial and OEM markets. The successful candidate will manage customer accounts, develop new business opportunities, and support the wider sales function through expert telephone based selling and excellent account management.

Key responsibilities

• Proactively generate new business through outbound telephone sales and prospecting.
• Identify and develop new sales opportunities across a range of industries.
• Build and maintain strong customer relationships to maximise repeat business.
• Generate sales leads and convert opportunities into profitable orders.
• Prepare quotations and follow up on outstanding opportunities.
• Process sales and purchase orders as required.
• Maintain accurate customer records using the company's CRM system (full training provided).
• Work closely with colleagues across sales, purchasing and customer service to ensure excellent customer satisfaction.
• Contribute towards achieving individual and company sales targets.
• Support continuous sales growth while maintaining healthy profit margins.

Essential skills and experience

• Previous experience in B2B sales with experience selling to OEM customers highly desirable
• Proven track record of developing new and existing business opportunities and meeting sales targets
• Exellent telephone communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build rapport quickly
• Strong commercial awareness, organisation and attention to detail
• Ability to understand technical product specifications and translate them into customer solutions
