A leading further education provider in Warwick is seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Maths Teacher to join its brand-new 14-16 direct entry provision. This is a fantastic opportunity for a passionate educator to inspire students, deliver high-quality teaching, and contribute to the development of an innovative learning environment.

The Role

You will be responsible for delivering GCSE and Functional Skills Maths to learners aged 14-16, supporting both their academic achievement and personal development. Working closely with the leadership team, you will play a key role in developing the curriculum and ensuring learners receive an engaging and inclusive educational experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging GCSE and Functional Skills Maths lessons.
• Plan, prepare and assess high-quality learning activities.
• Monitor learner progress and implement effective interventions.
• Support learners with SEND, EAL and SEMH needs.
• Contribute to the development of an innovative Maths curriculum.
• Create a safe, positive and inclusive learning environment.
• Engage with parents, carers and stakeholders to support learner success.

What We're Looking For

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), QTLS, PGCE or equivalent teaching qualification.
• Degree in a relevant subject.
• Previous successful experience teaching GCSE Maths.
• Experience supporting learners with SEND, EAL or SEMH needs.
• Strong knowledge of GCSE specifications and the National Curriculum.
• Excellent communication, organisation and classroom management skills.
