Maths Teacher (14-16 Alternative Provision)

Salary: £34,626 - £38,922 per annum

Contract: Permanent, Full Time

Are you a passionate Maths Teacher looking to make a real difference to young people's lives?

We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated teacher to join an exciting new 14-16 provision, delivering engaging GCSE and Functional Skills Maths lessons to learners who benefit from a supportive, inclusive and specialist educational environment.

The Role

You will:

• Deliver high-quality GCSE and Functional Skills Maths teaching.
• Support students with a range of needs, including SEND and SEMH.
• Monitor progress, implement interventions and help learners achieve their full potential.
• Contribute to curriculum development and innovative teaching practices.
• Work closely with parents, carers and colleagues to support learner success.
• Promote positive behaviour and create an engaging learning environment.

About You

You will have:

• QTS, QTLS or PGCE qualification.
• A degree in a relevant subject.
• Experience teaching GCSE Maths.
• Experience supporting students with SEND, EAL or SEMH needs.
• Strong classroom management and communication skills.
• A genuine passion for supporting young people and improving outcomes.

Desirable:

• Ability to deliver PE, Life Skills or PSHE alongside Maths.
