This is a unique opportunity to join the business as its first dedicated pricing specialist, taking ownership of the pricing function and helping to shape the firm's commercial strategy during an exciting period of growth. Working closely with senior leadership, you will play a key role in driving profitability, supporting business development initiatives and enhancing pricing capability across the organisation.

This newly created role offers the chance to build and shape a pricing function from the ground up, working closely with senior stakeholders to influence commercial strategy, drive profitability, and support business growth.

The Role

Reporting into the CFO and COO, you will act as the business' pricing expert, partnering with stakeholders across Finance, Business Development and fee-earning teams to provide strategic pricing support and commercial insight.

Key responsibilities will include:

• Advising senior stakeholders on pricing strategy, fee structures and commercial negotiations.
• Leading pricing support for pitches, tenders, panel appointments and procurement exercises.
• Developing innovative pricing models and alternative fee arrangements.
• Analysing client, market and competitor data to support commercial decision-making.
• Reviewing matter profitability and identifying opportunities for improvement.
• Coaching and influencing senior professionals to adopt a more commercial approach to pricing and client conversations.
• Building pricing processes, tools and best practice frameworks across the business.

About You

Applications are welcomed from individuals with pricing experience gained within legal services or a broader professional services environment. You will be commercially minded, highly analytical, and comfortable operating in a visible, stakeholder-facing, autonomous role.

Experience needed:

• Strong pricing, commercial finance or revenue management experience.
• The ability to influence and challenge senior stakeholders.
• Experience supporting complex client negotiations, tenders or procurement processes.
• Strong analytical and financial modelling capabilities.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to simplify complex commercial concepts.
• A proactive and entrepreneurial mindset, with the desire to build and enhance a growing pricing function.
