Maybe you have an HND or degree qualification in an engineering discipline but not necessarily, perhaps you just enjoying tinkering with vehicles or other machines. Are you a great communicator, with natural problem-solving skills, a desire to deliver excellent customer service and an ability to engage effectively in sales-related conversations? If so, we have just the job for you.

We’re looking for a Technical Sales Adviser, reporting to our Technical Sales Manager. This is a varied role, as outlined below. You will receive all the support and training you need.

We sell high-performance components and equipment, provide servicing and share our unrivalled expertise in production processes with customers in a variety of industries, primarily concrete, across the UK. We use our Make it better approach to help our customers achieve improved productivity, safety, sustainability and product quality.

Responsibilities

• Handle sales enquiries and provide technical advice, giving great service and building strong customer relationships.
• Produce and follow up quotations, raise sales orders and analyse lost orders.
• Exercise commercial awareness, eg identify opportunities to switch suppliers or sell redundant stock.
• Engage with continuous improvement activities; demonstrating a Make it better mindset.
• Ensure information relating to customers, price lists and stock is recorded and up to date
• Liaise with other departments, identifying and sharing appropriate information promptly and effectively.
• Obtain customer feedback and identify marketing opportunities for case studies and social media posts.
• Work closely with other team members to manage the department’s workload, provide exceptional customer service and achieve departmental objectives.
• Take every training and development opportunity to learn and grow in the role.

Hours are 8.30 am to 5 pm, Monday to Friday.

24 days’ holiday plus public holidays.
