Hays Education is recruiting dedicated and enthusiastic SEN Teaching Assistants to join a specialist school in Rugby. These are full-time positions starting immediately, offering work for the entire academic year, with excellent temporary-to-permanent opportunities for the right candidates.

This is an ideal opportunity for Teaching Assistants, Support Workers, Care Workers, Residential Support Workers, Youth Workers, or anyone with experience supporting children and young people with additional needs.

Your new role

As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will:

• Support pupils with Autism, ADHD, SEMH and additional learning needs
• Work on a 1:1 basis and in small groups
• Help students access learning and achieve their individual goals
• Promote confidence, independence and positive behaviour
• Build strong relationships with pupils, staff and families
• Support teachers in delivering engaging and inclusive lessons

What you'll need to succeed

• Experience working with children, young people or vulnerable adults
• A caring, patient and resilient approach
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• A genuine passion for supporting young people to succeed
• A willingness to learn and develop within an SEN environment
