FLT Counterbalance Location: Skelmersdale Pay Rate: £14/hr - £15.50/hr Shifts: 07:00-15:00 / 15:00 - 23:00 Days: Monday-Friday Overview We are currently recruiting for an experienced Counterbalance Forklift to join a busy and fast-paced operation. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled operator, particularly those with experience handling aluminium or steel products, to work within a well-established and supportive team. Key Responsibilities * Operating a counterbalance forklift truck safely and efficiently * Loading, unloading, and moving materials within the warehouse or yard * Handling long, heavy, or awkward loads such as aluminium or steel stock * Ensuring all goods are stored correctly and safely * Assisting with goods-in and dispatch operations * Carrying out routine vehicle checks and reporting any defects * Maintaining a clean and organised working environment * Following all health & safety procedures at all times Requirements * Valid and in-date counterbalance forklift licence * Proven experience operating a counterbalance FLT in a busy environment * Experience handling aluminium, steel, or other heavy materials (desirable) * Good awareness of health and safety practices * Ability to work both independently and as part of a team * Strong attention to detail and reliability If you have the relevant experience and are looking for your next opportunity, we’d love to hear from you.
