Management Accountant

We are partnered with a market-leading FMCG organisation that is looking to appoint a qualified Management Accountant to join their finance team.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-known business in a role that offers genuine exposure to senior stakeholders, commercial decision-making and a significant systems transformation project. Alongside taking ownership of key management accounting responsibilities, the successful candidate will play an important role in supporting a future NetSuite implementation, making previous NetSuite experience highly desirable.

Duties:

• Preparation of monthly management accounts and associated reporting packs
• Ownership of balance sheet reconciliations and month-end close activities
• Variance analysis and provision of meaningful commentary to stakeholders
• Business partnering with operational and commercial teams
• Budgeting, forecasting and cash flow support
• Continuous improvement of financial processes and controls
• Supporting the finance team through a future NetSuite implementation and optimisation programme
• Assisting with project work and ad-hoc analysis as required

About You

• Fully qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA)
• Previous management accounting experience within a commercial environment
• Strong month-end and financial reporting experience
• Experience using NetSuite
• Confident communicator with the ability to engage stakeholders across the business
• Strong Excel skills and a proactive approach to process improvement
• FMCG, manufacturing, retail or product-led business experience would be advantageous
