Successful Sutton BID, in partnership with the South London Partnership, is looking for an Employer Engagement Coordinator to support local businesses with skills, recruitment, and workforce development initiatives.

This is a fantastic opportunity to take ownership of a newly created role, building strong relationships with employers and helping them access the support, training, and funding available across the South London region.

Key Responsibilities

• Build and maintain relationships with local businesses across Sutton.
• Engage employers to understand their recruitment and workforce challenges.
• Connect businesses with relevant training providers, employment programmes, and support services.
• Promote apprenticeships, recruitment incentives, and workforce development opportunities.
• Work closely with local stakeholders, BIDs, Chambers, and partner organisations.
• Produce regular activity reports and provide feedback on employer needs.
• Support the delivery of business communications, newsletters, and events.
• Act as an ambassador for Sutton BID and the South London Partnership.

About You

• Previous experience in employer engagement, recruitment, business development, customer engagement, HR, or a similar role would be advantageous.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• Confident engaging with businesses and stakeholders at all levels.
• Strong organisational and administrative skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft 365 applications.
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and manage priorities.
