About the Head Barista and Team Leader role:

This varied, hands-on role combines speciality coffee expertise with supporting a small, friendly team and helping with the day-to-day running of the café. The successful candidate will be someone with previous experience in the hospitality sector who takes pride in doing things well, enjoys the buzz of a busy café and has a natural way with people.

What you'll be doing:

• Crafting and serving outstanding coffee to consistently high standards.
• Driving standards and developing the coffee offering.
• Leading, training and mentoring other baristas.
• Assisting with the day-to-day running of the café and deli.
• Looking after guests with attentive service and warm hospitality.
• Taking orders, serving to table, and processing transactions.
• Maximising and initiating opportunities for sales.
• Maintenance and care of the coffee equipment.
• Ensuring health and safety compliance, and general housekeeping.
