Are you an experienced Operations Manager with a background in Facilities Management, Security, Contact Centres, or Service Delivery?

We are seeking a proactive and commercially minded Operations Manager to join a well-established organisation on a 6-month fixed-term contract. This is an exciting opportunity to lead operational teams, drive service excellence, and build strong client relationships across a diverse portfolio of contracts.

The Role

Reporting to the Head of Operations, you will oversee the day-to-day management of facilities management and contact centre services, ensuring operational efficiency, compliance, and outstanding customer service delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead, motivate and develop operational teams, supervisors and team leaders.
• Drive a culture of accountability, collaboration and continuous improvement.
• Oversee service delivery across facilities management contracts, including cleaning, security, catering and community-based services.
• Monitor and improve operational performance through KPI management and reporting.
• Ensure compliance with health & safety legislation, COSHH requirements, risk assessments and operational procedures.
• Support and maintain SIA accreditation standards.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with public and private sector clients.
• Manage operational budgets and identify opportunities for cost savings and efficiencies.
• Resolve client issues effectively while maintaining exceptional service standards.

What We're Looking For

? Budget management and financial planning experience
? Customer-focused approach with excellent stakeholder management skills
? Strong communication and organisational abilities
? Experience within Facilities Management, Security Services, Contact Centres or a related operational environment
? Ability to work independently and make informed decisions
? Full UK Driving Licence

Desirable

• Facilities Management, Project Management or Business Administration qualification
• Experience delivering training
• Knowledge of industry regulations and best practice standards
