BMS Engineer – London Location: London, UK Sector: Data Centres / Mission Critical / Commercial Construction Employment Type: Permanent Salary: £80,000–£90,000 + Accommodation + Travel Allowance + Benefits We are currently recruiting for an experienced BMS Engineer to join a leading international engineering contractor working on a major commercial project in London. The business has an excellent reputation for delivering complex MEP, Data Centre, Mission Critical and commercial projects across the UK and Europe. They offer a strong engineering environment, long-term career development and the opportunity to work alongside experienced project and commissioning teams. This is a key position supporting the installation, integration, testing and commissioning of BMS systems, working closely with the wider M&E teams, subcontractors, designers and client representatives. Reporting to the BMS Manager, You will support the coordination, installation, integration and commissioning of BMS systems, ensuring all works are: - Delivered safely - Correctly - In line with project specifications Key Responsibilities * Coordinate BMS activities with wider M&E workstreams. * Support BMS installation, testing, commissioning and systems integration. * Coordinate BMS works with clients, designers, contractors and project teams. * Review and coordinate design information and technical documentation. * Support technical submittals and material approvals. * Monitor BMS progress against the project programme. * Carry out quality inspections and support snagging and close-out. * Attend project meetings, engineering reviews and coordination workshops. * Support BMS testing, commissioning, witnessing and troubleshooting. * support fault finding and technical issues. * Coordinate with BMS subcontractors and specialist contractors. * Maintain project documentation, reports and records. * Support preparation of O&M manuals, QA documentation and handover information. * Work closely with the BMS Manager and wider engineering team to achieve successful project delivery. * Maintain high standards of health, safety and quality throughout the project. Requirements * Previous experience as a BMS Engineer / BMS Project Engineer / BMS Commissioning Engineer. * Experience working on large-scale commercial, Data Centre or Mission Critical projects. * Strong understanding of BMS controls, integration and commissioning. * Experience with BMS testing, commissioning, fault finding and troubleshooting. * Good understanding of M&E/building services systems. * Experience coordinating with subcontractors, designers and project teams. * Ability to understand technical drawings and documentation. * Strong communication and organisational skills. * Relevant Engineering or Building Services qualification. * Experience with project and information management systems Package * £80,000–£90,000 salary. * Accommodation provided. * Travel allowance. * Additional company benefits. * Permanent position.
