Caretaker / Grounds Manager

• Job Type: 06:30 to 10:30 each day the school is open

• Salary: £12.71 per hour

We are urgently seeking a dedicated Caretaker / Grounds Manager to join our team at a nursery school in Shipley. This role is crucial in maintaining a safe and welcoming environment, ensuring the school is ready and secure for daily operations.

Day-to-day of the role:

• Perform general caretaker duties, including opening the school and ensuring the security of the premises from 06:30 to 10:30 each day.
• Maintain the cleanliness and safety of the school grounds and facilities.
• Monitor and report any maintenance or safety issues.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Proven experience in caretaking or grounds management, preferably in a school setting.
• High level of reliability.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Willingness to work various shifts as required.
• Hold an enhanced DBS on the update service.
