We're keen to hear from experienced Maths Teachers as well as suitable Early Career Teachers who are looking to develop their teaching experience within a secondary school environment. What will you be doing? You'll deliver engaging and well-structured maths lessons across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4, helping students develop their understanding of mathematical concepts and apply their knowledge to different problems. You'll adapt lessons to suit a range of abilities, explain challenging topics clearly and encourage students to develop their reasoning and independent thinking. You'll monitor progress, assess students' understanding and provide feedback that helps them recognise their strengths and areas for improvement. You'll also establish clear classroom expectations, encourage positive behaviour and create an environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and learning from mistakes. Working alongside other teachers and support staff, you'll contribute to a positive department culture focused on student achievement and continuous improvement. What are we looking for? We're looking for a confident and approachable teacher who can make maths accessible, engaging and rewarding for students of different abilities. You'll need strong subject knowledge, effective classroom management skills and the ability to explain concepts clearly. Relevant secondary Maths teaching qualifications and QTS, where required by the school, are expected. Experience teaching KS3 and KS4 is desirable.
