Engineering Team leader Leeds Area £56,000 Permanent Days Shift - Panama Our leading food manufacturer with sites situated across the UK is looking for an Multi Skilled team leader to join there team. As an Engineering Team Leader you will play a key part in minimising downtime, planning PPM’s, supporting continuous improvement and ensuring a safe and efficient working environment. Key Responsibilities * Leading and coordinating shift engineers * Planned and reactive maintenance * Supporting continuous improvement projects * Driving engineering standards and uptime * Prioritising breakdowns and engineering workload * Supporting apprentices and developing engineers * Working closely with production teams * Managing contractor activity on site * Supporting shutdowns and project work * Monitoring downtime and recurring faults Ideal Candidate: • NVQ Level 3 / HNC/ ONC / HND / or equivalent * Strong electrical or mechanical maintenance background * Experience working within a food manufacturing or FMCG environment * Leadership or supervisory experience * Fault finding experience on production machinery * Strong communication skills * Experience using CMMS Multi Skilled Engineer / Multiskilled mechanical Engineer / Multi Skilled Electrical Engineer / Maintenance Engineer / Multi-Skilled Team Leader / shift engineer / manager / engineer supervisor / maintenance supervisor / maintenance team leader / engineering team leader / engineering shift manager / engineering team leader Leeds / Bradford / Halifax / Huddersfield / Wakefield / Pontefract / York / Barnsley / Garforth
