Our client, based in St.Albans is looking to recruit an Accounts Assistant to join its team. This is a great opportunity to continue your development within a forward thinking firm who offer study support.

• Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records of financial transactions
• Posting and reconciling bank transactions
• Raising sales invoices and credit notes
• Processing purchase invoices and expenses
• Assist in preparing and submitting VAT returns
• Assisting with month-end and year-end close procedures
• Liaising with clients and providing them with regular updates on their financial records

You should have 6-12 months experience within an accounting firm preferably having used Xero and enjoy working in a fast paced team and have excellent communication skills.
