Vanta Staffing is currently recruiting experienced Forklift Drivers for our established logistics client based in Slough.
This is a fantastic opportunity for reliable and hardworking individuals looking for a long-term position with the opportunity to secure permanent employment.
The role involves operating both counterbalance and reach forklifts alongside general warehouse duties in a busy, fast-paced environment.
Duties & ResponsibilitiesSafely operating counterbalance and reach forklift trucks.
Loading, unloading and moving stock throughout the warehouse.
Replenishing stock and ensuring production lines are kept supplied.
Building and preparing pallets for storage and dispatch.
Using pump trucks and manual pallet trucks when required.
Supporting general warehouse operations.
Maintaining a clean and safe working environment.
Valid Counterbalance and Reach Forklift licences – both essential.
Previous forklift and warehouse experience.
Comfortable working in a physically demanding environment.
Must be physically fit and prepared to walk approximately 20,000–25,000 steps per shift.
Ability to work rotating day and night shifts.
Reliable, punctual and able to work as part of a team.
Own safety boots and high-visibility clothing.
3 Days On, 3 Days Off – 12-Hour Shifts
Day Shift: 07:00 – 19:00
Night Shift: 19:00 – 07:00
Rotating shift pattern covering both days and nights.
£14.75 per hour PAYE
Consistent shift pattern.
