Position: Nursery Nurse
Location: Doncaster, South Yorkshire
Contract: Temporary, flexible ongoing supply
Pay: £14.24 - £16 per hour (dependent on experience, training, qualifications and client rate available, paid via PAYE - no umbrella company fees, inclusive of holiday pay)
Start Date: ASAP or a date that suits you

About the Role

As a Nursery Nurse in Doncaster, you will help provide a safe, stimulating and nurturing environment for young children. You could be supporting children through play-based learning, helping with daily routines and encouraging their social, emotional and developmental progress. Opportunities may be available across a variety of early years settings in Doncaster.

Key Responsibilities

• Supporting children's learning and development through play and planned activities
• Helping create a safe, welcoming and engaging nursery environment
• Supporting daily routines, including meals, toileting and personal care
• Encouraging communication, confidence and positive social interactions
• Working collaboratively with nursery staff to meet children's individual needs

Candidate Requirements

• Previous experience working with young children in a nursery or early years setting
• A caring, patient and enthusiastic approach
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• A relevant early years qualification, such as Level 2 or Level 3 CACHE, where required by the setting
• An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one
