Description
As a Senior Procurement and Facilities Manager you will be responsible for developing and implementing the global facilities and property strategy. This role leads global category sourcing for facilities spend and works closely with manufacturing excellence, site and supply chain teams to deliver effective, sustainable and commercially strong solutions.
You will manage facilities spend across multiple manufacturing sites and commercial operations. You will lead the implementation and execution of the global facilities strategy, ensuring it is effectively cascaded to Operating Units and tailored to regional and local market requirements.
You will collaborate with key stakeholders to deploy global and regional strategies, supported by robust implementation and transition plans. The role requires strong commercial judgement, supplier market insight and the ability to balance strategic priorities with operational requirements.
Key responsibilities
- Develop a strong understanding of facilities solutions, market drivers business needs.
- Create and implement a comprehensive roadmap of activities and categories within scope, partnering with cross-functional teams across R&D, brand leads, procurement and the Operating Units.
- Lead the global scope of facilities categories and drive consistent execution across facilities spend.
- Influence global and regional stakeholders and business partners to support strategy development, endorse recommended approaches,
- Support strategic relationships with global suppliers and lead processes that enable new
- Manage the supply base for categories within scope through a robust performance management process, ensuring supplier performance is clearly understood and measured.
- Lead high-value, long-term negotiations in areas of spend that can significantly impact business performance.
Profile
A successful Senior Category Manager- FM- Property Management should have:
- Experience of managing end to end categories and developing category plans across procurement, FM and Property
- Ability to use commercial and category insight to make clear recommendations.
- Experience of reviewing performance data and identifying practical actions.
- Knowledge of product positioning and range planning.
- Ability to work across teams to deliver aligned category activity.
- Clear written and verbal presentation skills for sharing findings and recommendations
