This established specialist manufacturer provides monitoring and telemetry solutions for clean water and wastewater networks, supplying customers across the UK and international markets. Established in the 1970s, the business designs and manufactures specialist technology used to monitor and manage critical water infrastructure, helping customers improve network efficiency, reduce water loss and maintain reliable services. In this role, you will manage the procurement of direct and indirect goods and services, taking ownership of sourcing, supplier management, negotiation and contract management through to delivery. You will work closely with internal departments and suppliers to identify cost-saving opportunities, monitor supplier performance, manage risk and improve procurement processes. You will also use advanced Excel and data analysis to monitor spend, benchmark costs and support commercial decision-making across the business. This role would suit an experienced Buyer or Senior Buyer looking for a position where they can take ownership of the full procurement process, influence suppliers and stakeholders, and make a direct impact on cost, quality and delivery.
