About the Role

We are currently seeking a friendly and professional Temporary Receptionist to provide cover at a GP surgery near Midhurst (15 minutes' drive). This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced receptionist or administrator who enjoys working in a patient-focused environment and is available for temporary assignments.

Key Responsibilities

• Welcoming patients and visitors to the surgery
• Answering incoming telephone calls and handling enquiries professionally
• Booking, amending and cancelling appointments
• Managing patient records and updating information as required
• Handling general administrative and reception duties
• Ensuring patient confidentiality is maintained at all times

What We're Looking For

• Previous reception, customer service or administration experience
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Confident using computer systems and managing multiple tasks
• Professional, organised and reliable approach
• Experience within a GP surgery, NHS, healthcare or medical environment would be advantageous but is not essential
